503-16 series

The 503-16 series of automatically deployable beacons, or crash position indicators, are utilised globally by all major helicopter manufacturers and operators, providing 406MHz message combined with transmission of last known GPS co-ordinates to accurately locate aircraft,. Features include; on aircraft programming of Cospas-Sarsat protocols allowing for ease of maintenance and a multi-axis programmable G switch that ensures reliable operation. The option of a Memory Module, enables flight information to be retained within a small memory chip, assisting accident investigators as to cause and contributing factors in deployment of the 503-16 series.
